Amy received her Master’s in Counseling degree from Oakland University, where she was a member of Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for counseling. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a member of the American Counseling Association.  

Amy is interested in working with various populations.  She believes in creating a therapeutic environment based on genuineness, unconditional acceptance, and empathetic understanding. She utilizes an integrative theoretical approach based on the individual needs of her clients. She has experience working with clients in areas including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, divorce, relationship issues, and life-transitions, in individual, couples, and group 
settings.
