It is my goal to assist each individual in developing their self-awareness and exploring their life’s meaning, so as to achieve self-actualization.  It is my goal to develop a therapeutic alliance with each of my clients, in which they feel that their concerns are heard, and their unique traits are valued and implemented as tools for success and wellness.  It is my goal to express an empathic understanding of each client, and foster genuine authentic relationships which nurture emotional honesty, lending to the exploration of the unique nature of each individual’spotential as a whole person.

I use an integrated approach to therapy, recognizing the unique aspects that make up each individual. This approach includes Narrative, Solution-Focused, Feminist, and Psychodynamic theories.  One of my core philosophies in counseling views the therapeutic relationship as the cornerstone for all growth and change in any type of session. My areas of clinical focus and interest are:

• Grief and Loss

• Anxiety

• Depression

• Traumas/PTSD

• Couples/Families
