Approach in therapy/modalities used (theory): I use a blend of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), along with Motivational Interviewing Techniques. I also have experience in providing IMH (Infant Mental Health).

I graduated in 2009 with my Master of Social Work from Wayne State University, with a concentration in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have experience with children, families and adults with a number of diagnoses including anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, trauma, borderline personality disorder, ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I have a passion for children, teens, parents and adults and seek to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for people to learn and grow. I also have a strong area of passion for pregnant and postpartum moms! I am a mom just like you and I would love to connect and offer support!

I have been trained in providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)-informed treatment for adolescents and assisted in implementing and running DBT-informed services at a previous agency. I also have experience working with young children and their families in both Play Therapy and Infant Mental Health. Email is the best way to initiate contact!

I have supervised a homebased program for teens with severe mental illness. I also have overseen a fatherhood program, a parenting program, and a program for Transitional Aged Youth. I have experience providing training in the assessment of children, helping with IEPs, assisting with an ADHD clinic, and providing training on Motivational Interviewing.
